Dr Campbell is a Specialist Breast and General Surgeon with an expert interest in oncoplastic breast and reconstructive techniques. In addition, she provides general surgical services such as gallbladder, skin and hernia operations.

Dr Campbell earnt her undergraduate medical degree from the University of New South Wales in Sydney and followed this with internship and residence in Western Australia. She then entered the general surgery training program having completed rotations throughout south east QLD including Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Queensland Children’s Hospital, Redcliffe Hospital, Price Charles Hospital and Caboolture Hospital. In 2018, Dr Campbell was awarded a Fellowship of the Australasian College of Surgeons. Dr Campbell then worked as General Surgical Fellow and Consultant General Surgeon at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital and Caboolture Hospital.

Dr Campbell was selected for the Breast Surgery Post Fellowship Training Program through Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand (BreastSurg ANZ). She completed her two year fellowship training at the prestigious Royal Melbourne Hospital and Westmead Breast Cancer Institute in Sydney where she was exposed to and mastered the very best in oncology and oncoplastic breast surgery techniques available in Australia.


My Approach

As a skilled surgeon, Dr Campbell prioritises exceptional patient care provided in a multidisciplinary environment. By actively listening to her patients’ concerns and understanding their medical history, she tailors personalised treatment plans that address their unique needs. Her goal is to provide compassionate support and guidance to patients and their families, promoting their overall well-being and recovery. 

Background

Outside of work, Dr Campbell cherishes the precious moments she spends with her family, especially her husband and twin boys. She understands the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance and believes this enhances her ability to provide compassionate care to her patients.
